CONVERSATIONS WITH THE REGULATORS
NH Commission for Human Rights (NHCHR) June 3, 2021 | 9:00a - 10:15a | Online
The HR State Council of New Hampshire is continuing its webinar series focusing on specific regulatory agencies with which HR professionals interact or that play a significant role in workplace law. In New Hampshire, these agencies include the Department of Labor, Employment Security, and the Human Rights Commission. The first two webinars were engaging discussions with the Department of Labor and Employment Security about the common challenges both the respective agency and employers face.
For the State Council’s 3rd webinar, the focus will be on the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights (NHCHR). Through investigations and hearings, the NHCHR enforces New Hampshire’s Law Against Discrimination that prohibits discrimination and harassment in the workplace on the basis of sex, race, disability, religion, sexual orientation, and other protected statuses. As employers develop programs to prevent discrimination and harassment, and promote diversity and inclusion, it is important to understand how the NHCHR handles claims and what resources it offers to employers.
The 3rd webinar is scheduled for June 3, 2021, from 9-10:15 a.m. We are thrilled to have the following top officials from the NHCHR joining our conversation on June 3:
Ahni Malachi, Executive Director
Sarah Burke Cohen, Esq., Assistant Director
Moderator: Andrea Chatfield, Esq., of Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson, p.l.l.c.
Please note: If you already pre-registered for this webinar, you do NOT need to register again.
